Subject: Swimming west Michigan
Does anyone have any suggestions on where to swim around Hudsonville/Grand Rapids area.  We are looking for a lake to do some open water training.  Any help would be appreciated.

Hello and welcome.  I used to train at one of the Georgetown Shores lakes.  But now that there are houses where we used to start and signage about no swimming, I'm mainly swimming at GVSU and Hudsonville High School.  There is Lake Rushmore in Jenison.  I've personally not swam there yet, but I'll be looking for more options next year when I restart my training.  You could also try Millennium Park as well.

Thanks Cutlass, we have been to Millennium Park a few time but were wondering if there was something a little closer to Hudsonville.  We also have a membership to Jenison High School for lap swim.  Again, thanks for your response.
