Trail runs in Fort Wayne area?

I don't know about Ft. Wayne, but if you find your way west about 40 miles we have awesome trails in Winona Lake.

I've done a race in Franke Park that was about 1/2 off-road and 1/2 on.  It was pretty good.   I've also ridden the MTB trails and you could put together a pretty good trail run in that park.   You could run a good 6 miles without ever covering the same ground twice.

I think that the trails can get pretty muddy when it's been raining.

The River Greenway is pretty good.  There are several places you can jump in and go forever.  I don't remember how many miles of trails there are but I doubt you would want to check all of the out in one run.  here's a link to check out http://www.greenwayconsortium.com/files/RGMap.pdf

I have done all my long runs on the Greenway leading up to my marathon in a couple of weeks.  I would caution you to pay attention to some of the signs when you are running on the trails.  I got lost the first couple of times on the trail because I didn't plan well and didn't pay attention.
