Here is the deal.  My LBS has 2010 P2 for 2000.  Or I could wait for 2011 and get it for 2400.

Sure, maybe the paint job on the 2011 seems better and that is really it as far as changes, if I understand correctly.

The other thing is resale value.  Getting the 2010 at the very end of the year makes the bike sound older than it is.  Right?

For 400 should I care?

I just bought a 2010 P3, I could have bought a 2011 for the same money (once they come available)...I bought the 2010, I like the color scheme better.

I have the 2010 p2 but I like the color on the 2011.  My wife is worried I'll take the hit for a color up grade.  Thats just me.

They appear to be about the same bikes, except I'm not sure about the front fork or what are "standard" components on the 11 (I've only seen the French catalog and can't read French).  Either way, I would consider upgrading to at least Ultegra on brakes, derailers and crank on either bike.

FWIW, Nytro.com has full specs.

I had the 2009 P2 & cracked the frame (blue & silver version).  Cervelo replaced it with the 2010 frame.  I like the the color much better.  It seems like every year, the color scheme improves, so just take the 2010 & use the $400 on gear and extras.

Let's see:  $400
Get a basic front carbon wheel- like a Planet X carbon clincher, and a wheelworks rear cover disc.

So then the bikes are the same price- but one has a basic race wheel setup.  Now which one do you want?
