I use Garmin Connect and really like it. After coming back from a trip I think I may have lost my Garmin USB to upload all my 310 data. I may have left it at work so I am going to check tomorrow. In case i don't have it where is the best place to buy a replacement without getting jacked? And how much am I looking into spending?

Yeah..most of the ones are being sold by retailers...30-40 dollars! Really? Does it really cost that much for a USB ant?

Just noticed you said 310 not 305.  Are they compatible?  If so, the offer stands.  If not, sorry for being reading-comprehension challenged.

Edit:  It isn't easy typing while on the trainer!

The Garmin ANT stick will work with any of their ANT devices - there's not a special one for the 310.

Cheers, Chris

er... I thought that the 305 didn't use the ANT+ stick, but used a USB connector.   two different systems.  The 310's stick will work with the 405 (and now 410).

If it's a 310, the only way to get the data off is by using the ANT+ stick.

Sadly, from garmin it's $50.

From amazon, I found some used around $35.

If it's a 305, there's already been some offers for equipment, and I'll add some to the pile too

Another note, is you could call Garmin, tell them you lost yours and ask them if they have any refurbished that you could buy. It can't hurt to ask.

Shoot me a PM, through some connections at Garmin I have an extra. The black casing got cracked but is fixed with super glue, still picks up and reads data fine. If you want it let me know.

If it's the USB cable that you are in need of, then ANY USB (connection A to B) that is lying around the house. I have many of them from kids toys to external hard drive connections, GPS connections (Car), card readers, phone connections, etc. If you look around I bet that you could find one to replace your old one.

FYI, on my unit (205) I've used multiple USB connectors without any difficulties. Or you could go to your local electronic store to pick one up cheap, like radio shack:
