Subject: Triathlon Training Camps in NY Area

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has a site that they have used to find out about weekend triathlon training camps in the area. I live in New York City but would be open to any in NY, NJ, PA and even NH.

A whole bunch do camps at Lake Placid.  My club does one so i will give you our website to check it out.

I went up there last year for a training weekend and it was awesome!  The coaches are great, the food was fabulous and it is absolutely beautiful in the Hudson River Valley.

Hudson Valley Tri has camps in Lake Placid, VT, Lake George and Bearsville

I'll be doing Fireman Ironman training camp this year - they have 2, one in May and one in June.  The website is http://www.firemanironman.com/.  Never done it, but I've heard good things.

Awesome! Thanks so much, a lot of these look really fun and informative. We will definitely plan to do one (probably Fireman) this summer for our training.

 

We were hoping to do one in early May to seriously get things going, does anyone know of one happening 4/29 - 5/1 or 5/6 to 5/8? Sorta specific but we have a commitment the weekend after.

I hold 1x/monthly mini-camps in Sullivan County, which is 90 minutes away from NYC. June 28/29 is the next one, with an optional ride back to NYC on the 30th (100 miles) if you are training for long course and have the fitness to do so.
