Based on anecdotal evidence on the interwebs, this really doesn't matter.  They will test you regardless.

On mine, it says, NO MRI - COCHLEAR IMPLANTS.   Suppose I get head injuries (especially when it's the bike), and if they put me in MRI, the magnets in my head (yes I have a magnet...look it up), will explode out of there. It's not going to be pretty. "CLEAN UP IN MRI ROOM 2!" :-)

I personally feel that Road ID should be it...VITAL information.

You sure about that? It's my understanding they will only loose their magnetism, requiring re-implantation.

I'm getting ready to order mine, does anyone use the interactive one with the website/800 number?

I'm thinking the emergency dude isn't going to be looking up my vitals on his iphone while I'm laying on the road bleeding so I'm leaning towards the one I put my info on.

I will likely put "Philippians 4:13" on mine

My wife insisted that I get one.  I thought it was a bit much.   To be a smart-as$, after the emergency contact information, I added:  "Cremate on high"

My wife got my B-I-L  and me Road IDs for Christmas. Now she won't let me leave the house without it.

Below all the general info I have

"Reveal Your Character"

Because when you working hard and you leave your ego at the start line along with any pretense, all you are left with is your true character. What are you going to do when it gets tough? Quite or or push through? Hard work does not build character... Hard work reveals your true character... Next time it starts to hurt, dig deep and "Reveal Your Character"!

That become my mantra after my first Ironman.
