Comments:

narrow start made first half mile slow, but felt good, was doing good in mile 2 but melted at 1.5 miles, rest of the way was a struggle. i had no go in me.
What would you do differently?:

train better or stay home and avoid the heat.

jumped in a swimming pool

Event comments:

race got a lot bigger overnight and had some struggles in handling the #'s but overall they did fine. great venue and lulu's did a nice job with after race. the results were very slow, awards started at 10:00AM, 2 and a half hours after the race started. Food was great, beer was cold.
