Pre-race routine:

None! Didn't even know I was doing it until 45 minutes before the race. Someone had dropped out and I took their spot. Raced home and grabbed some gear. Made it back with not a second to spare.
Event warmup:

Race from car with all my gear, dropped it in transition area, ran to the water in my bike shorts. As I touched the beach, the horn went off. I had to ask some of the people waiting where we were swiming to!

Forgot to take off helmet even after all that time. Didn't wear socks and it still took forever. That seemed to work out ok. Will try that in practices.
