Subject: Doing an Ironman70.3 after injury
I am just coming out of an injury due to a bike accident during a sprint tri. My training during the past 2 months was down to zero. All injuries, except for wrist are back to 'ok". I really want to participate in an Ironman 70.3 on % Nov '11. My first. Question :Do I have enough time (about 14 weeks ) to train for this event. My goal is to complete it within the alotted time. I am an age grouper 50-54?

I have 1 to 2 hours per day 6 days a week to train.

Any feed back and advice would be greatly appreciated.

AM: Just got cleared by the Doc. No more physio necessary.

Went to the gym and did a 40 min spinning class and a 45 min walk /run on the treadmill

Wore a wrist guard during the spinning class.

Doc said should put wrist and elbow into hot water after exercise ...done
