Simplifying a previous post. Currently i'm on a road bike (Cervelo s1). So what would you buy? New P2 or add the Quarq to my current bike?

this isn't simple at all.  how about a p2 and a power tap.

u could look for a used end of season is approaching quickly new 2012's will be in the shop in nov.  I am sure you will find a great deal on a p2 somewhere. PT will be sufficient if you want to train with power.

I would get the Quarq... and then save up to really set some fast bike splits once you can buy your P2...

Training with power can give you some amazing results, but do your research first and learn how to use it. If you're letting it become just another bike computer, then forget the Quarq and get the P2

i thik the answer to that one depends on whether you want to buy a bit more speed as a quick win (the frame) or make a permanent investment in and a committment to keeping your engine in shape (the quarg). although i'm kinda biased...

Like you I have an S1 and faced this decision! I bought the Quarq and couldnt be happier. I absolutely know I made the right decision for me. I upgraded the engine w this purchase in a way that was better than a bike upgrade.
