I am writing a plan that will get me to where I can watch all 9 minutes without walking or holding onto a kayak. Judging from what I can do today, and increasing by only 10% weekly, I think my plan will need to be approximately 16-18 weeks long, depending on nutrition and bandwidth. |

As for the aforementioned badger song.... http://youtu.be/EIyixC9NsLIDuring one of my tris this last season, the bike course was on a very busy 2 lane 'highway'--and apparently the surrounding farmland had many badgers---I had to have passed at least 5 of them dead on the road--on a 16 mile out and back! Anyway, I found myself singing this 'tune'--and, to be honest, its sort of become my race mantra---it helps keep the cadence up!
