They are. I'm looking forward to cheering you all on tomorrow. Rest well tonight and have a great race!!! Hope we run into each other. I'll be looking for your bike. I like to walk through transition and oogle at the other bikes anyway.

Julie Viau. She won the women's race. I coach her and she is a dear friend of mine. So so proud of her. Her daughter also did the race Haley, she is 12 and Julie's boyfriend Jay did the race with Haley. All finished and had a great time. I saw you coming out on the bike. I was wearing the captain america shirt. Nice job and nice time. Are you happy with your race? Sorry I didn't catch you after, had to go run 10 miles! Awesome day for it.

Great, just swam 3,050 yards this morning!
Holy cow, congrats to your friend!!! She crushed it!!
Did she mention the distances were off? My Garmin clocked the swim at almost 700 yds and the run was 2.8 miles. I was very sad about my swim time until I saw that. I felt good on the bike - could have gone a touch faster but wanted to try and be strong for the run as I haven't been running very much. It was good from the standpoint I was able to sprint from coming around the corner to the finish. I was 5th in my AG but 4 minutes out of 1st in my AG - which is quite a bit in a sprint. I'll get with Kim to see what's up with my swim and keep building my knee back up on the run. Fun times though. I'll be at Dunmore too - just not sure if I'll do the sprint or the Oly.
I went without socks this time and didn't put powder in my running shoes - had a dog of a time getting them on. My T2 time is usually under a minute, lost like 30 seconds this time - I won't make that mistake again. LOL

Hey, thanks! Congrats on Rev ME!! Did you do a race report for it? I'm thinking about next year and turning into a last family vacation before the kids go back to school.
How was the ocean swim?

I have been so busy, I haven't had a chance to do a race report. The ocean swim was fast. I had a chance to play in the ocean with my daughter the day before and I got a feel for the timing of waves and such. I swam a 26:25 for the swim. 2:22 for the bike and 1:41 run. 4:35 total. A really good day. I feel strong and ready for Louisville in 5 weeks!!!

Ha! Yes, it was a 70.3. Thanks. I've been working hard at it for some time. Hoping to manage a kona slot in KY. We'll see. There are some beasts out there.

Wow! Good luck! Or imibwould rather say good skill!!! You will have earned it!!
Finished the Oly today - 2:52. I'm waiting for the splits to come out because I didn't hit my watch right on the transition mats and I truly don't believe I biked a 24 mph average. LOL. (Hopefully someday!).

Nice work!!! I don't think I have done a race right yet with my watch. I keep reminding myself which button to hit and when, and I still manage to screw it up somehow each time. That is funny. Keep at it and those 24 mph rides will come. Congrats on the race!

You're just shy of a month out, Scott! You must be in your last big build before final taper! I don't anticipate you seeing this for a couple of weeks because you're probably so focused and training, sleeping, and eating everything in sight! I can't even imagine!
You are going to just kill this race - can't wait to hear how it goes!!! So exciting! I really hope you get that Kona slot - that would be so cool!
