Comments: My goal was to hold a 7:30 pace for as long as I could. I started out feeling really good and ended up doing around a 7:15 pace the first several miles. At the 7 mile point before the hills I was averaging 7:20 overall. Once I hit the hills I slowed down a little, but made very good time on the hills. At the end of the hills I looked at my watch and saw a 7:30 overall pace, so I knew I was home free for the last 4 miles to hit my 7:30 or less because it was a lot of down hill. :) What would you do differently?: nothing Post race
Warm down: stretching What limited your ability to perform faster: still need to lose 15 lbs. :( Event comments: Great race, that I would recommend to others. I plan to make this a recurring race every year. :) Last updated: 2011-04-01 12:00 AM
