I just saw this on trifind.net.

Questions:

Has anyone raced this before?
Anyone planning to race this?
Is it the same course as Jack's Generic?

I'm doing the "Keep Texas Wild" Tri in Corpus the weekend before, but I might do this one as well to finish the season.

Are you gonna be there?

I haven't decided yet. The swim portion of Jack's really got me early in the season. It would be great to go back out there and do well.

I don't know anything about the Wurst Tri but I will be doing the Wurst Ride on Nov. 5th. There is a 60 and 30 mile ride ending at the Wurst Fest grounds. Nothing like a good brat and beer after a long bike ride.

I see the Wurst Tri is at the Ski Ranch so it is probably the same course or very close to Jack's Generic/Rookie Tri.

How hilly was Jack's Generic? My first encounter with hills was the Seaworld Splash Tri and it was an interesting experience. It would be good to have an idea before I decide to do this...

Thanks!

There were a couple of good ones on the back end of the course that will get your heart pumping. I think they were pretty comparable to the last hill of the loop at SWS.

I didn't think they were too bad - I'm not a good climber either.

Ok, I decided to bite the bullet and go ahead and do this one as well as the one in Corpus the weekend before. So, I'll have a couple of short sprints to close out the season.

Any other BTers as well?

So Jeff, have you made up your mind yet?

I'll definitely be there. The cooler weather is just too tempting to miss.

I would love to do this race but I think I'm going to pass this time. Good luck!
