Thanks, I made the changes and correction.

M = meters, Y = yards. Some people pledge in yards, others in meters.

To All: Please report your totals based upon how you pledged. If you pledged meters, please report meters, etc.

Nope, you just get twice as much credit for your swims.

Just found out that the local Y will close the pool for a few days this month. I'd like to restate my pledge to 20k.

And before anyone starts whining tries to accuses me of sandbagging, this will still represent my second highest monthly volume ever. My previous second highest is 16k yards.

Just a few quick updates:  jchyte is missing from the SW team's list, and he pledged 28,000 yds.  "jryals" only has one "r" (a little thing, but I'm just lookin out for my peeps ).

 Thanks Renee!

From the other thread...

Renee - 2005-11-30 3:42 PM

*begin theme to 2001: A Space Odyssey*

After 4 months of swim slacking, I will reenter the pool tomorrow, thus beginning my part of the Florida Force journey towards humiliating, crushing, squashing and vanquishing our opponents.

May the Force be with you. The game is ON!

Maybe I'm missing something, but what is your December goal?

Why is there a question mark after "Midatlantic Crabs"? It's totally not a big deal, I'm just curious.

I want in with the Texas folk. Besides the fact that I live in Texas, I figure if I am going to join a team it might as well be the winning one.

Put me down for 10000 yds.

I did 8000 this month and that was my most since i was 15 so I figure 10000 is a nice round number to shoot for

Up here in the Great White North kids play hockey in the street.  When a car comes somebody yells "CAR" and the goelies move the nets to let the car by.  Once the car passes and the net are rerurned to there spot the game resumes by somebody yelling

GAME ON !

Just curious,
is it too late to get in on this challenge?? I would be part of the southwest team, CA. to be exact, but if I have to I can wait til January's challenge.
