I signed up for the bike ride only. I see that they changed it from a varied number of miles to two distances. I HOPE I can do 30 miles. It will be a FIRST for me. The longest distance I have riden is 20 miles.

What packet are you talking about? I don't have a packet!

Hi Courtney,

Let me just say a little something about the experience for me...

IT WAS AWESOME ! ! ! ! ! !

Dave is personable and so very intelligent!  There was so much to learn and I didn't have the opportunity to write it all down.  I hope my brain doesn't fail me now before I make some more notes.

I did not check this forum before so this is post-clinic. I went to the Saturday evening social/dinner and the swim clinic. The social was great, very entertaining talk by Dave on the early years of Ironman (1980 and on to 1989, etc). Also a good opportunity to be able to shoot the breeze with Dave one on one.

The swim clinic was good. With around 40 folks in the pool, it was difficult for Dave to spend a lot of time with each person, but still lots of information. Afterward was another chance to sit and just chat, which was good information.

If there is another clinic in the future, I am definitely there and I would encourage anyone else to jump at the opportunity.

Dan,

I wish I could have been at the social.  He is so nice.  I agree with you that if he is ever here again - I am there!
