kaqphin - 2013-03-17 8:21 PM It's confirmed... I get out today... Still have to rest and recover at home until at least next Tuesday when I see my specialist but while I'm a bit anxious about being on my own I'm excited about getting back to my own bed!!!!

Glad to hear that you are doing better.  That was a long time to be in the hospital.  Enjoy being back at your own place and bed tonight.

Thanks Kendra.. it was wonderful to sleep in my own bed and not be woken up for tests or checks or needles or anything this morning... even though I think Im still on hospital routine... although part of that may be the very confusing pill regime too!!!! x

Hello Nibbs.  This nibbs is going to try and get back into the swing of things.  Dr's have pretty much told me nothing they can do for the torn tendon in the hip other than build up the muscles around it.  And the bursitis and sciatica is not going away any, so time to just get back to doing what I love and find ways to work around the pain.  Going to take a long walk tonight.

Way to hang in there.... *hugs* Hope the walk went well for you..I am just back home from a barefoot walk in the sand at the beach... Slow and not overly strenuous pace but great for the soul I've been getting more incidental stuff than ever but first 'workout' I've logged since getting out of hospital

It's unseasonably warm here for autumn (fall) so I think being a Sunday I will have to get out again today and do something... Just have to be careful as the medication. I'm on makes me sun sunsensitive and on Thursday ( public holiday here like your Remembrance Day) I went for brunch and a wander around the harbour with a friend and my face felt a bit tight afterwards.... Not burnt as such but a but over exposed..May have to get used to carrying sunscreen at all times!!! For top ups....

Make a fashion statement and find an awesome hat to wear.  I have a great broad brimmed hat that I wear pretty much all spring/summer/fall long.

I haven't been on vacation or to the beach in a really long time.

Then again, I have no soul. :p

Maybe I should GO on vacation to the beach to try to FIND my soul?

Can you find them, though? Maybe they're next to your fishnets. (Look in the bathtub.)

Lol - I wondered if the fishnets would come up!

Photo shoot scheduled for tomorrow...  should be hilarious...

Just a warning... I am not me at the moment due to still being on the stupid Pred (steroids)... I am known (by me) as a tired, moody pufferfish

Of course the fishnets would come up. It's not like we can forget about something like that easily! LOL

And no, you are not a tired, moody pufferfish. You're just dealing with a medication that makes you retain fluid, causing you to appear puffy.

But, um. Can I call you "pufferfish" now? Or.... what about:

Kaqphuffin!

Yeah, I like that one.
