6'140. Nothing fits. Young men's sections don't work for the over 40 crowd. It's online only for me. Great thread though.( +1 on the Boss suit.)

I'm partial to Armani and Armani Exchange.  They just seem to have both unique, yet conservative clothes.  Their fit can get a little slim sometimes.

I despise Old Navy.  People swear by them, but everything I buy seems to fall apart.  Same with GAP.  So I don't even bother any more.  Banana Republic is really good as well.  My wife is on a first name basis with everybody at our local BR.

I don't shop Macy's anymore. They've turned into retail Kmart in my area.  Same with Younkers.  I went into JcPenny and Khols once and had to leave.  It's was chaos. So much crap in the isle you could barely walk.  Just terrible.

x2.  The 1MX Slim fit is the most slim cut dress shirt I've ever worn.

Until you try the 1MX Extra Slim fit shirt.  They are the bomb.

For nicer "work" clothes try Brooks Brothers.  They have a slim fit line that fits great!  At 6'2" and 175 I find it hard to get shirts that are long enough.  They can be a bit pricey though, but on the flip side they last forever.  I still have a couple of dress shirts that I wear weekly that are pushing 5-6 years old and they still look good!

Try their outlet stores and twice a year they have a clearance where everything goes down to almost 50% off.

Brooks Brothers has the best fitting athletic cut dress shirts I have found.  They don't cost that much more than BR or the department stores and I think are of better quality.

Kohl's has some fitted options for mens shirts as well. I also prefer NON-pleated straight pants. My newest suit, from Indochino.com is all fitted/tailored and they do look better fit.
