Subject: Training Plan Advice Needed

During week 10 of 16 of HIM training plan, I am running a HM, the plan calls for a 13 mile run on the Sunday of the HM, perfect!

But, what should I do about the 55 mile bike that I am suppose to do on Saturday the day before? Only do part of it, do the whole thing, move it to an earlier or later day? The HIM is my "A" race for the summer and I have never done a HM race before.

X2  Do the ride.  Run the HM because your plan says to, but I wouldn't compromise my "A" race for the HM.  Or you can reevaluate your goals and race the HM and do the ride that evening or the next day.  Good luck with your decision.

Yep. What they said!

The HM is a training day. You get to go out and run with other people. That's it. You also get to ride 55 miles that weekend.
