Jackson County and Meltdown are live.

Mayhem doesn't have the link yet, but the other two sites with live links are not advertising the 3 race combo deal.

I speculate that there is no 3 race deal.

Attempted to stop by Innsbrook this past weekend while visiting my parents in St. Louis to scope out the terrain for the upcoming St. Louis 5150.  Didn't realize it was a gated community and they wouldn't let me in to just drive around. I will be curious to see how many days prior to the race they will open up the course for pre-rides, etc.

Elite has bought the old KLM races if you have not heard. Don't know if the same group will be running it or not though.

You'll definitely see some work being put into improving the event from Elite, no doubt about that.

It's been over a month, and the 4/15 "early bird" date is fast approaching.  Any update on Mayhem, and whether or not they will offer the 3 for ~$210 deal again?

Well, Jack Co and Meltdown got sold to Elite Cycles in Leawood.

I'm not sure what's come of Mayhem.  I opted for Shawnee Mission Triathlon as a secure bet.

I have yet to hear anything about the series these days.

If you sign up for both Jackson County and Meltdown, you get a $15 coupon for purchases at Elite Cycling.  That's the deal.  So basically $15 off for early bird.  Talked a little with Jeff at Elite and by keeping the price at $70 ish per race he can provide a better race day experience.  He's supposed to get a survey out some time in the near future.

I told him a major improvement would be course markings (even though it's athlete's responsibility to know course,,,,bla bla bla".  I also told him Chocolate Milk at the finish line and some awards after the race.  Those were my points anyhow.  They really want to do the race right and keep in mind they're new at this.  But they're a top-notch outfit so my gut tells me it will be the best "first time" race experience that any RD has put together.

If you want to be heard, please do the survey.  I'll keep you posted if I hear anything.

Mayhem I think is still KLM, it's not Elite, this year anyhow.
