Friday - #922 - 4.4 miles in the Groundhog 1/6th marathon. 9th place overall, but not that many people participate.

Sunday - #924 - 2 miles right after 1:15 on the bike

#1192- 24 mi - snow was too deep to run in, I covered 2.2 miles outside (took me 40 minutes, I kept breaking through the snow crust so I couldn't really run, it was more like hopping), so the rest I did on the treadmill. I did 10 miles with starting with 10% incline until I hit 313 ft then ran the rest of the mile flat. It was taking too long, so after the 10 mile mark, I just ran with no incline.

#1195-8 mi progression
#1196- 16 mi
#1197- 8 mi
#1198- 2 mi
#1199- 14 mi trail in snow, took me over 4 hours (I did stop to take quite a few pictures),it started melting during the run, the rocks underneath were very slippery, there was a lot of mud too, I did get lost once too. It was right around freezing so the snow was very sticky. It was absolutely beautiful how it caked on everything, but it even stuck to the trees and covered up the trail markers. I ran one mile at about 29 minutes, because I literally was going in small circles trying to find the next blaze. I hadn't really run on these trails since last summer, and they look a bit different covered in snow.
#1200- 8 mi
#1201- 7.1 mi
#1202-8 mi progression

I'm doing two long runs per week. Lately one 16 mile run on Tuesdays, then on Friday I run more for time on as tough of trails as I can get to. So far I've been in the 4-5.5 hour range. I also do one 8 mi progression run where I finish up just under a 6 min mile, usually one recovery run per week, and then I run an hour or so on most other days at a comfortable/easy pace usually 7-8 mi.

Friday - #936 - 2 miles at lunch with a sore inner thigh muscle, caused me to hold up on the effort, then 1 hour easy bike in the evening
Saturday - #937 - 3.5 mile run (intended on doing about 8, but the sore thigh had different thoughts), then 2500y swim in the afternoon
Sunday - #938 - 2 mile run, then 3:45 on the bike in the afternoon/evening - got to watch 2 full movies! lol
Monday - #939 - 4 mile easy run at lunch, intending on 2500y in the pool after work if I can get it in before their water aerobics class starts

#1213- 23 mi trail, 6200ft elevation gain, I fell pretty hard at about mile 11.5. I tripped coming down a steep rocky descent. I tucked into a forward roll, my hydration pack absorbed the initial impact, but my lower back/upper butt area hit a ridge along the top of a sharp rock. I limped my way down but didn't want to not get the training run in, I felt I could keep going, so I did. It actually wasn't too bad. But the next day, ouch, I was bruised and battered.
#1214- 2 mi - recovering from fall
#1215- 2 mi recovering from fall
#1216- 6.2 mi -feeling better, except when I sit
#1217- 8 mi trail -still taking it easy

Just doing about 40 - 50 miles a week right now. The race isn't until October so I don't want to burn out.

#1241- 27 mi, 8400ft gain, ran with another person training for the same May race and did about 15 or so miles with him.

Haven't posted for awhile, but still at it. I've been sticking with the same routine, long trail run Friday with lots of climbing (last two before today were 26.3 mi with 7200ft gain), trail run Tuesday (16 mi, 16 mi, 15 mi) on last three weeks. Speed work Monday (8 mi on gym treadmill), 6.2 mi Wed (at gym after workout). 6-8 mi Thursday (I'll mix it up, some road, some trail, some treadmill), recovery Saturday (2-4 mi), and 6-10 mi Sunday (some road, treadmill, or trail depending on day). I've also managed to stick with my gym routine for the last 4 months or so.
