the run went well. Hadn't planned on runnning it at all until Morgan said the night before that she wanted to go. Legs were still tired from last weekend's marathon, so didn't know what to expect. My legs felt tired, but didn't hurt too bad. Was hoping to break 20 min,but had nothing left in the tank. The 1st mile felt really tough,I wasn't properly warmed to ru nfast that early. Snd mile is mostly uphill, but passed about 20 people. Hung on for the last mile, passed a couple of young kids, then got passed by a 43yo female who smoked me at the last turn with about 1/4 mile to go. I coudn't muster any strength to chase her down. I was 4th overall, which I was pleased with, especailly only 1 week out from a mararthon.
