Subject: Canadian looking for Sprint Tri in Florida in March 2013

I am a newbie and heading to Florida in March for a vacation and I was wondering if there are any sprint tri's happening in March.

Where are you going to be in Florida? If you click on the races tap on the top of the page you can choose sprint and Florida and it has some listed already. There are more but location would help find you one close.

Thanks for your reply. I will be in the Englewood area in Feb or March. The Wildman Tri in Orlando looks good.

On Saturday, March 23rd we will have the 30th Annual Great Clermont Sprint Triathlon as well as our TriKidz race. This is the weekend that Sommer Sports will begin celebrating 30 years of producing triathlons. On Sunday the 24th we will have the International Distance (International Distance Tri, 1.5 - 40k - 10k).

There is usually something in Ft Myers, at FGCU, but it might be early April. Early Feb is the SuperBowl Tri in Sarasota. Early spring is sparse for racing, generally speaking. PM me if you are looking for some training while you are in Englewood. That is my neck of the woods.
