Subject: RE: 2012 Cannondale Slice 5 hydration set up? Fellow Slice rider here. Been very happy with it's ride comfort & stability on rough local roads. For hydration I've tried both front torpedo bottle mount & Profile Design Aerodrink. I find Aerodrink easier to sip from & stable even on rough pavement (unlike torpedo mount which has ejected my bottles at worst possible times). http://www.profile-design.com/profile-design/products/hydration/all-hydration/aerodrink.html I put my repair kit in a screw-top cage-sized plastic bottle like this- http://www.probikekit.com/us/accessories/hydration/cycling-bottles/bbb-cycling-storage-bottle-large.html Shorter events I mount it in single cage behind the seat, & use twin cages behind seat for longer events (1 water bottle, 1 repair kit bottle). Nothing against Vision, but personally I would only change bar for better fit. |
