Swim
Comments: Decent swim felt good all things considered. Got caught behind a few ppl. found a gap and moved thru them got hit in the face but goggles stayed on just tilted a bit. Went full out last 200 meters or so. Felt strong. What would you do differently?: Next time move to front. Try not to get stuck behind ppl. Do better job of moving around them. Transition 1
Comments: Have to work on either getting socks on faster or dont use them for the sprints..Getting socks on damp feetg cost 30 seconds easy What would you do differently?: Try more running and biking without socks Bike
Comments: Paced the first 2 laps then pushed in a few spots last 2...Almost crashed as person coming out of t1 lost control and veered into race lane as I was starting lap 3 had to stop...felt good the whole bike part of race What would you do differently?: Get a road bike this offseason...more longer rides build up faster pace in offseason Transition 2
Comments: Already had running shoes on so got off helmet and racked bike...quick t2 Run
Comments: Had to use bathroom entire run. Almost painfull at the end...first run with a 7 handle...maybe bladder made me move faster to get to bathroom...not sure what it was but left ankle bottom of calf cramped up halfway thru...went away by time kick. What would you do differently?: get in one more restroom break b4 race. work on runnign speed in offseason Post race
Warm down: used bathroom and had snacks What limited your ability to perform faster: Cold and bladder, mtn bike Last updated: 2012-09-25 12:00 AM
