Any spectating tips for Oilman this weekend?  My hubby is going to be doing this race for the first time.

Awesome! My crew camped out not far from transition on a grassy area facing the run course. They saw me come in off the bike and twice each run loop.

Yeah you could probably go down by the water to see him come out of the water and then find a spot near transition to camp out at for the next few hours.

They have a nice breakfast at the resort. After he gets out of the water and onto the bike, you can go in there and be warm for a few hours until he gets off the bike.

Last year on the run, we found some lawnchairs by the pool and set them up facing the run course. It was a lonelier section of the run, so the athletes seemed to enjoy seeing us there. It's close enough, you can take a cut-through and beat him to the finish line after he goes by the last time.

Thanks for the tips!

I am thinking about heading home during the bike (after I see him leave T1) to grab the kiddos and then coming back.  Is parking bad?  I will definitely bring some chairs!
