I have vacation days I could use, but I'm saving them up so I can take my birtthday off and days off this spring when it's nice out and I want to be outside. |

Currently cleaning up my house after a Christmas Day party that lasted 12 hours and I got to bed at 2 am - great great fun with friends. I worked Christmas Eve (wearing an elf hat that was only appreciated by 2 other fellow elves) so that I could take today off. However, a problem in our university lab at 10.30 pm on Christmas Eve (this very grumpy elf managed to work out a temporary fix) means that I have to go into work this afternoon to sort it out. Sigh  |

Pro 6520 Bellingham, WA | Subject: RE: Who is at work today? I'm in the office today and it is very quiet. I was on vacation last week. Had a great time in the snow up at Whistler, B.C. This is a three day work week as is next week so pretty relaxed around here. I'll be all caught up by the end of the day so I expect my post count to increase dramatically over the coming days. I'll also work out my 20 week training plan for the first A race of the year and fill the rest of my race calendar. |

Extreme Veteran 667 Melbourne | Subject: RE: Who is at work today? 26th is a public holiday here (boxing day, still don't have a clue what it is about though) so had it off, but am in the office for the rest of the week while everyone else has a shut down. Saving my vacations as in the next month take possession of a new house that needs a bit of reno work, which if on time will be around the same week as baby number 3 is due and child number 1 starts school. I also find even with BT surfing, without the other interupptions I get over twice the work done without the unpaid overtime so I hate taking these type of days off |
