Comments:

I had mark this race as a training run. So I knew this wasn't going to be a PR and also I was planning to ride my bike later in the day and didn't want to kill my legs. Discussion was at what pace would I run. PR is 2:05 on a course that was down hill. I was thinking a 2:10-2:20 day. I set myself up with the 2:10 pacer and so if I could stay with them. The first two miles I did, but I knew I couldn't hold that pace. Finished at 2:20. Great training run.
What would you do differently?:

Needs to consider doing run/walk pacing.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Haven't done that much running the last two months.

Event comments:

I rode my bike for 33 mile with my bike group and I felt good. I was a great day for a brick training.
