Subject: Trails around Morgantown

I'm back home for a couple of days this weekend and I would like to run on trails. I don't really feel like driving all the way to Cooper's Rock, so I was hoping for something closer to Morgantown, particularly the Suncrest/Medical Center/Baker's Ridge area. Is the Arboretum pet-friendly?

I have seen people walking their dogs in the arboretum.  It is still a bit of a trip, but when I ride my bike up to Masontown, I see MTBers and hikers going to some trails for a wildlife refuge.  Dorsey's knob might also have trails.

Maryland has made me into such a wuss. I remember cycling up 8th Street when I was younger. I drove up it on Saturday and the thought of biking up it today makes me want to cry. Getting back to the top of the Arboretum yesterday almost killed me; there was very little actual running or jogging on the way back up.
