Despite lumbar back strain, decided to go ahead with sub-4:00 run goal. Kept it up through mile 10, but was getting dehydrated and the back injury was getting worse and worse. Started walking hills at mile 11 and could barely walk by mile 14...pulled the plug at 15.5...surprisingly easy decision.
