Just wanted to say hello. I am attempting to train to complete a tri sometime next year. I just started this week with the Couch - 5k aggersive program. I have not really been to involved in any sport for about 8 years now except for the occasional yoga or a skiing trip. Looking forward to learning a few things from the more experianced users do far I love this site.

welcome aboard!

good move picking a plan already.  the next step is signing up for a race you can commit to. maybe pick something early at the end of the summer, or early fall.  also, use the logs as much as you can, they're so helpful and motivating. for me, entering in a workout in the logs is almost as gratifying as the actual training session.

Welcome to BT! This is a great site and has TONS of useful information.

Since you're doing the couch to 5K program, do you have a 5K race picked out? I don't know where you're located so I can't search but here in the south we have them year 'round. Once you get that experience under your belt you'll probably be raring to go for your first tri!

Maryland Heights...that's such a great area!  There are bike-friendly roads.

I live in Wentzville and work downtown at Market and Jefferson.
