I just started experimenting with this function. From what I can tell, each time you hit the lap button to move to the next sport or transition, the main screen with total time, total distance and current sport defaults. That is not data I need to see during a race, I'd rather see the time, distance, pace, etc. for that leg only. I feel like I'll throw myself off trying to scroll through to another screen. Just remembering to hit the lap button is about all I want to deal with on race day. Am I missing a way to change this main screen so that what I select as the preferred data fields for each leg is the default screen?

I would contemplate just not racing with it at all since I won't use it during the swim (though it would be nice to know my swim time as I enter T1) and have a bike computer; however, I hard core rely on knowing my current pace on that run. Maybe I just use it on the run and be patient to learn my overall time after the results are in?

Is it really that hard to hit the down arrow button once?  Not trying to be snarky.  It's just not that big of deal.  There's an auto scroll option as well.

Give it a chance; it's really not that big of a deal. First time I tried it I must admit to a similar WTH response, but a single push of the down arrow got we where I wanted to go.

Use this ^^^ if you really don't want to hit the arrow button, just set the other 5 pages to the fields you want. That way when it scrolls, there's a 5 out of 6 chance you'll see the fields you want when you look down at your watch.

Good idea. In fact, turn off all the data fields you are not using and it should alternate between the multisport screen which will tell you your overall time and the sport specific data screen. I'm going to try this one myself!
