Can I get in on this??? I'm at my highest ever!!! 249.0!!

Nine years ago when I started doing tri's and my boys were younger and not so busy and I was working out like crazy, I was a comfortable 208.0!!

So I'd like to get back down close to that...

Started another WHOLE30 on Monday (did one in the fall and lost 18 pounds in a little over a month)

Start 249.0
this weeks GOAL 243.0

05/29/13 - 191.0lbs
06/05/13 - 188.0lbs
06/12/13 - 189.0lbs

06/19/13 - 187.8lbs

Huzzah!  Good week, finished my most intense week of training ever last week.  Just below 14 hours.  With the amount I ate (not all the best choices either, not terrible either, just not the best)  I didn't think I was going to do this well.

I'm off to visit the folks for a few days, my mom is a great cook, and I love to eat, not the best combo.

I'm super excited to, I am racing my first 5K that I ever did again on Saturday.  Last year I got 31m42s.  I think if I actually rest my legs a bit on Friday I can go sub 25m this year.

Going to get some OWS practice in Lake Michigan too.

Going to be a busy weekend!  Hope everyone else is having some fun.

Hope I can jump in once again? this time last year I was at 216, now I am back to 229.5 and really need to get back in the swing of eating right and dropping some weight. I have A HIM in September and would love to come in at 205.

Down to 87 kg this morning. That's a total of 7kg lost from the beginning of May (about 15 pounds)

Got my new withings scale this week.  Can't stop weighing myself every time I go by, lol.   My Dad calls me "gadget freak!"   Yeah, well, maybe I am!

I'm in the 4th week of Stronglifts 5x5.  For anyone that's NOT in the middle of a serious training plan, I highly recommend it.  I'm already feeling stronger and my body composition is changing in the mirror.   I don't know if it's just me, but there's something that is definitely empowering about lifting heavy things!

I hope everyone stateside is doing well!

Can I play too? I'm full out training for Im Florida and thought the weight would fall off. 12 weeks of solid work and weight is the same 161 this am. I need to be around 142. I'll drop 1-2 lbs then it comes right back, so frustrating. Back to logging all food and no wine. Whine whine...

Well............off to a bad start!

6-26 232 Up 2.5# from last week, might have had something to do with way too much food and drink over the weekend and very few workouts. Between the weather and my work schedule its been a tough few days.
Oh well reset and keep moving.
Goal for June is to get back to 229 and not have a relapse over the weekend.

I hope all is well for everyone, keep up the good work!

Hmm I pretty much consider that the same.  Not to shabby considering I was out of town visiting friends and the folks for 4 days (still got good training in!).

I had a 5k this weekend.  It was the first ever race that I did last year when I started my weight loss journey.  Last years time was 31m24s, this years 24m56s.  Still room for improvement, but that is pretty good if you ask me.

Oh and I bought a new bike Smile.

Now let's see if we can minimize the damage of next weeks taper, and the holiday weekend!

I think we might be long lost twins or something.... It seems that we started out our weight loss last year at about the same time, at about the same weight.  Now holding between the 185 - 190. Laughing

Is this your goal weight?   I was around 185 for my HIM this year, want to be back there for the IM in August (basically there with the "margin of error" )  My wife said repeatedly, enough, I'd lost enough weight, etc.  Having been on the weight loss train (read, pats on the back), it was hard to get out of that mindset and be content with maintaining (which is also a lot of work, I've found).  But then I see a picture of me and yeah, I see that I don't really need to lose any more.  But you know triathletes.

I *think* I am OK anywhere from 182 ish to 188ish.

I got down to 179 after a hard ride a few weeks back, but that is not a healthy way to lose weight, LOL

Not quite, my goal weight would be 175-180lbs.  I hope to get to 185 for my HIM in August.  I'm finding it fairly easy to maintain during my HIM training, but difficult to loose.  It probably would help if I didn't eat enough food to supply an army each meal.

Well, last day of June...how about a check in and grade your efforts for the month?

My goal was to do something active every day, and start getting back into the habit of leading an active lifestyle and start training again. While there was a week vacation this month (where my eats were still reasonable), I kept active with lots of walking and horsing around with the kids in the pool. I also started my HM training program this past week,, so that will help from here on out.

So while I didn't do something training log-worthy every day, I maintained a higher level of activity had I not set that goal. I'll give myself a B-. Onwards!

This month started on the wrong foot and ended in a complete tailspin. I had a big trip with my boys planned right after my HIM on the 9th but never recovered from the downward momentum of that trip. Lots of stress from work that went from bad to worse over the month, lots of not knowing which is the worst for me. Find out a lot tomorrow on the work end of things but need a good ole fashion kick in the arse on the eating right and pushing myself daily.

Hey flip the page its a new month, grade for the month- F Failure!
