Guys

I want to try swimming again. I am looking for an instructor that can help me swim
efficiently and make the cut-off time of HIM. Hopefully i am looking for areas close to Pearland, Tx.

If you can recommend someone who can teach well for the time and $$$ ill spend.
Sincerely

Carl

There's a Master's group in Clear Lake with three coaches (one who does tris and two who were collegiate swimmers) -- I imagine you could set up lessons with any of them.  The Master's sessions are not lessons, but once you get comfortable swimming, it's a good way to get consistent swimming in and continue improving.  Shoot me a PM if you want more details.

I have pedals with the cage and when I ride 2+ hours my legs feel much more tired then if I took out my husband's bike with clipless pedals. Do clipless pedals truly make the difference?

I got about a minute into it and, despite bracing myself against it for months, I panicked. I could not get my breath. I said, "I can't do this, I can't do this."

I went into the pool area (as this was a pool swim) and got body marked. That's when it hit me that I was there to race - this was not a clinic.

I started riding this spring with the Carnac shoes on Look pedals (with plenty of float). About five minutes into a ride I get sharp pain on the outer edge of my feet, just behind the pedal.

We did really well with the beers, which will explain my reluctance to get out of bed on Saturday morning.
