Woke up, ate oatmeal hour before race start (bad idea, needed bathroom after; never doing it again). Drank bottle of water, left for race.

Quick, short runs to back of Y. Two sprints mixed in.

My own mentality of thinking I shouldn't push too hard right after coming off of bronchitis.

I can train for half marathons on pavement and on trails, but as soon as I change it up to gravel or loose dirt my knee swells and the pain it causes is unreal. Any ideas why this happens?

At 30 to 40 minutes into my run, my foot starts to go numb. If I keep going, the foot goes totally numb.
