Anyone ever do the Sandestin sprint Tri in August? good time?

I was planning on it this year- i'm "next door" in Panama City. Friends have done this race and speak well of it. Gulf swim can be an issue for some, if no experience in OWS, but usually calm.

I did it last year. It was a fun race but kind of expensive if I remember coreectly. I think I'm going to do the Santa Rosa Island and Destin Seascape tri this year instead just to mix things up.

thinking about doing this race to break my triginity, little worried about the swim but what the heck, i can always doggie paddle and backstroke my way to the beach. once i complete the swim it will just be another duathlon and no worries.

You can do it. No rule against laying on back, doggy paddling, sidestroke etc!
