I'm trying to get a handle on what I eat before and during my workouts. Are there foods that will slow me down or make me bonk? The reason I ask is because on my rides of 50 or more miles I am wasted at the end. I went on a planned 35 mile ride the other day and after 10 miles I knew something was wrong. I had no energy left. I stopped totally spent after 15 miles. I wonder if there are foods that I should stay away from just like there are foods that help. I need some help, obviously!
What say you BT?
