A tad windy but warm water since it was hot yesterday. 38xx was the fastest I have done on this course so a decent day. Just disappointed I did nt have the top gear to pull ahead for the win. Even at 2nd I got a case of muscle milk a glass, and goggles. So for $40- well worth the drive.

My wife competed in the 1500m while I tended to the kids.   Beautiful setting, but I couldn't believe the wind -- the lake was choppier than my ocean swim in Vancouver!

We stuck around to watch the 3000m finish -- wanted to see the infamous simpsonbo at work!  Well done, I know you were hoping for the win, but it was pretty close to the end.

Stroke after stroke, my pace was pulling me out into the middle of the lake quickly. The cover seemed to be getting thicker. But still in the distance, the little boathouse was my lighthouse.
