Just wanted to thank everyone who has chimed in on my posts and offered help and advice, even for my remedial questions at times.

Got it done sunday, but had a Bike issue with my cleat holding on with one screw from mile 46-56 on the bike therefore I had to climb with approx 50-60 percent loss of power from my left leg........at the last aid station for the loop they said I was 5th in line for a fix so i decided I did not want to wait......got to the turnaround and found a tech and he fixed it....lost about 30 minutes of bike time and shredded my legs especially my right one working harder so my run was horrendous however as a first timer I got it done!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Race report to follow...thanks again

Congratulations! Sucks about the cleat, but nice job pushing through it.

My wife & I were watching for you, we were catchers, but it got so chaotic for a while that we missed several people we were tracking. Look forward to reading the race report.

First goal is finish and you did, especially in the first one. If you didnt get the time you could have it will be easier to best your time in your next IM.

I went into the pool area (as this was a pool swim) and got body marked. That's when it hit me that I was there to race - this was not a clinic.
