Well the sprint isn't really a spirnt per say. This had me really confused at the beginning of the year. The short course is somewhere between a sprint and and oly (in my eyes). Just like the Muskoka "Long Course".

I just hope my swimming doesn't let me down.

How much is too much? Is two tri's in three weeks too much? Hmmm.....starting to doubt if I should do Belwood. Niagara took a lot out of me and I want to do well at Guelph Lake II Olympic and now I'm starting to think about doing the Sept. 23rd Half marathon and the Sherkston shores Sprint.....

geez...too many races and not enough time to recover / train / taper / race / repeat....

Hmm...maybe I go back to doing the Belwood Try a Tri and see if I can place in my age group....I'll have to see how this week of training goes...

 Maybe that's a good T-Shirt ( Train / Taper / Race  / Repeat )? :-)

Sounds like alot to try and do without enough recovery between, doing the Try-a-tri and consider it more of a workout session given the length of the other events your are doing. Just a thought. I would be curious what everyone thinks a good recovery time for a Sprint level would be . Ie time between to sprints ?

*SMACK* Timmy you're going!

You can never race too much, just look at Jeepfleeb's race calender. Just prioritize, GLII and the half are your A races right? just taper towards those and don't go allout in the others. Make them expensive bricks.

That's hillarious.

I did notice JeepFleeb's calendar. My hip is doing better today. My son wants to do the kids fun run on the Sunday so I may be forced into the short course. arrrhh! Don't tempt me! I'll do it if I'm feeling better. Lord if I only had 1 ounce of self control!

Must race more! Must race more!

Hmm...recovery time in between sprints. From my very recent experience two weeks if it's a huge effort, less if you're not reallying competing but just enjoying the event.

The 1/2 Marathon and Olympic took me almost 3 weeks to totally recover.
