What do some of you do to care for your wetsuit? such as cleaning after swimming in what I call "dirty man-made lakes".

X2 Same here, I also lube the Zipper a couple of time a season with some Silicone based Grease , keeps it running very smoothly.

I do. I soak it in the bathtub after a shampoo scrub, then hose off and hang dry.

I do shampoo mine a couple of times a season, but not after every swim (I'm lazy).  The norm for me is to take it home, rinse it in the tub and hang to dry.

When I bought my wetsuit in 2008, it came with "wet suit shampoo" and Aquaseal. I've used the Aquaseal a couple of times, never used the shampoo. I think about it every season but never get around to it. Maybe if I shampooed it once in a while it wouldn't tear and I wouldn't need the Aquaseal...

I'm doing my first tri Saturday. It starts at 7 AM and the forecast is calling for a high of 82 (air temp). Do I need to rush out and get a wetsuit?
