Anyone doing Hammerfest Sept 15th?

I've done the race once, about 3 years ago. Tempted to sign up again this year, depending on how I feel. I'm doing Madison the wknd before.

It's a smaller event than what I'm used to (maybe 250 people), but very well-run. Lots of food/drink, some vendors. I really nice atmosphere. The run is 4 miles (I didn't realize this and was wondering when the run would ever end. lol) through the coastal neighborhood. Very nice. I don't know if it's still an issue, but there were a couple of spots where people started running down the wrong street (wasn't marked well).

Overall, I only have good memories of the event. And you're also helping support a great cause.

those are both my local races. I live in Guilford and belong to the groups who put those races on. I'm not really doing tris this year (just riding mostly) but great groups of people and hammerfest has a nice little course for you on your first one. Good luck.
