Swim
Comments: A decent swim today. In 200 yards there isn't much time to find a rhythm. I wish the swim had been much longer. Short swim courses usually hurt my overall placement because I don't have a chance to put time into the fast bikers in the water. Transition 1
Comments: I had a my shoes already clipped in today. That's the first time this year I've done that. I think I'm good to go now for the rest of the year. I had a great spot right beside the bike out, so my trans was quick. Bike
Comments: This was a tough course with several significant climbs. I kept pretending I was climbing the Col du Galibier and then Alpe du 'Huez. Transition 2
Run
Comments: The course wasn't that difficult aside from the one tough hill that got me last year. I think it may have been measure long though. It's been years since I've gone over 21 minutes for 5k. Post race
Warm down: Hung with fellow BTers! Cool dudes. I ate a PBJ and of course, had a Sundrop. Since Karen and Bella stayed home I skipped the old drug store in town and those great bologna sandwiches and milkshakes; we'll go back next year when Bella is more manageable. Last updated: 2006-07-21 12:00 AM

I was actually on time (early) for once. I got a great spot on the rack and went for a short run.
I hung with some fellow BTers and chatted for awhile.
