Im in the Hamden area and work in the Milford area. Does anyone know of any adult swim teams/practices that go on at any of the area athletic centers or YMCAs? I know someone brought up a Masters Swimming thread before and not much info was found, but I'm hoping there's some new information out there to be shared. Thanks!

I joined the Meriden team because they meet in the evenings and I'm not a morning person. I called the aquatics director and asked about the team and she invited me to come down and meet the coach and the coach let me swim for that practice. It was $75 to get a fitness membership and I think like $95 for the fall session. Its a pretty small group, I think there were like 5 other people at the last practice. Right now I don't have a car so I'm only going on Wed. nights; when my car gets back I'll be doing Monday and Wed.

Thanks! I have my follow-up to my shoulder MRI today, so as long as I can still swim this winter I will be looking into that.
