Hello,

I'm looking for your favorite cross fit workouts that only require body weight exercises or exercises the use medicine balls. I saw one the other day (can't remember the name) that was along the lines of as many rounds as possible of 5 pull ups, 10 push ups, 15 sit ups, or something like that.

Thanks!

"CrossFit" is a brand. Think outside that box and start Googling stuff like:

body weight workouts
body weight travel workouts
high intensity interval workouts

Some exercises you can do:
pushups
air squats
pistol squats
lunges
jumping lunges
sprints
medicine ball throws (since you said you had one): throw the ball, run to it. Pick it  up, throw again. Repeat.
wall balls
find a bench or a wood box and jump and and down
find an abandoned tire. Make a tire drag with a belt and rope. Drag it. Throw it like a medicine ball.
Find a tree. Chop it down. Carry the wood.
find a log, pick it up and down. over and over.
jump rope
handstands
handstand pushups
if you're willing to buy a medicine ball, consider buying a kettlebell. Then google "kettlebell exercises" or "kb workouts"

and yes, the CF website has bodyweight exercises on there as well. You can always alter the WOD's to fit what equipment you do, or do not, have.

I have one that I like to do while on vacation and using a hotel gym so if you have a treadmill or outside running, it works well for both. It was:

5 Rounds:

1/2 mile Run

20 Push Ups
20 Sit Ups
20 Wall Balls
20 Jumping Jacks

For me, its always a pretty fun workout and not too difficult. Last time the family was on vacation, I had my wife, sister in law and Aunt all doing the circuit with me and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Bodyweight workouts are great because you can do them almost anywhere. You can do any of these bodyweight workouts while traveling, at the park, or even at your gym.

I do a similar one to this...has become my go-to when I'm traveling and need something different:

10 rounds of
400 m run
10 push ups
10 lunges or squats
10 crunches (or 30 sec side plank each side/ or other ab exercise)

By the time you are done you've run over 2 miles and done some good body weight exercises.

Also, find a kids jungle gym/play area (if I'm out early enough there usually aren't any kids there yet. Plenty of things to do there - pull ups, stairs, pole climb etc...get creative!
