We are waiting for one last date change to be confirmed and we should be able to post the 2014 schedule by Friday. There is also a press conference on Thursday with an announcement about an addition to our line-up. Should be on CBC radio local reports as we'll.

wow, big change in the lakeside date. Is it 5 races to qualify for the series awards or 4?

We have no plans to change the qualifications for series awards. http://www.multisportcanada.com/extras/series-awards/

Moving Lakeside up is really going to potentially hurt Goderich, a great small town race! I wonder if the Goderich RD will change their date as a result of this?

Our dilemma is we do not have another date to move Lakeside. I have personally raced Goderich a number of times and am on record on various forums supporting Tom's race. We also distribute the race application form every year as a courtesy. This is one of the nicest races in Ontario.

I personally called Tom Doherty to tell him we had to change the date and had no other weekend. He gave us the green light. We are always cognizant of other races and would never purposely move a date where we might hurt an independent.

Blah, wish there were some closer to Windsor.
