Besides the obvious answer of Beginner Triathlete, there are a few others that I frequent:

Slowtwitch - Some knowledgeable people post there who don't post on here, but you need to have a thicker skin and tolerance for a$$hats.  I have the first, but my patience wears thin quickly when dealing with the second one.  The articles tend toward the more technical or about people racing at the pointy end of the field.

Training Peaks - There are a lot of good training articles.

USATriathon.org - Race and rules information, articles on training and the sport in general.

NSCA-lift.org - The National Strength and Conditioning Association's site contains some of the highest quality information about strength and conditioning available anywhere.

Various groups on Facebook and a USAT Coach Group on Yahoo Groups.

Mental toughness is skill. You need to learn how to suffer. You practice perseverance everyday when you are out training in the bad weather, when you ride or run further than you have ever gone.

My dog is an intelligent runner. She does a big stretch before she does anything. She starts out slowly and gradually builds up speed until we are running very fast.

“Less is more,” is a common buzz phrase in endurance sports today. It refers to the trend of training less but focusing on intensity and quality rather than on quantity.
