is this replacing the Giant Eagle 5150, or were you just saying you were replacing your personal race with this one?

Been off BT for a while since I started doing all my training logs in TrainingPeaks. Here's what I have on tap for the year. Hopefully I'll see some of the BT folks out there...

04/27/14 - Greenswell Duathlon (tentative)

06/01/2014 - Deer Creek Olympic

06/29/2014 - ITU World Triathlon Chicago - Olympic

07/27/2014 - Challenge New Albany - Olympic

(Would like something short/convenient in Mid-August if they body can handle it)

09/07/2014 - Rev3 Cedar Point Half (haven't signed up yet)

11/02/2014 - NYC Marathon

With the miserable weather we have been having, I hope that it means we will have a great spring/summer...

What a bunch of overachievers!!!

Thinking of swapping Muncie for New Albany.

See you out there, good luck and good health.

Hah, that's right!

Bring your bike legs for this course... some big rollers and one really steep one at the halfway point.

The run is pancake flat, though.

I am only thinking about REV3 full distance in September.
If I will eventually register for it, then I will add Racing for Recovery Half June 15

That will be it! Want to concentrate on a big goal.

I finally planned and registered for my races!

May 31: Open Water Swim races at Alum Creek - doing both the .25 mile and .5 mile races

June 22: Ross TriFit Challenge

July 13: Columbus Y Triathlon

July 27: Challenge New Albany Olympic Aquabike - I've never done an Olympic before and am a terrible runner, so thought I'd ease in to the distance with an Aquabike :-)

August 17: Linwood Park Triathlon

September 6: Rev3 Cedar Point Sprint Tri

Sept 21: Air Force Half Marathon

Oct 19: Columbus Half Marathon

Maybe some local 5ks here and there if I feel like it too :-).

I mostly have my schedule figured out with a couple of possible additions. The ones with * are registered.

11 June- Blue Streak Time Trial
*June 22- Ross Fit Sprint
July 7- Blue Streak
July 16- Speedy Feet Wed. Night Tri (Caesars Creek)
Aug 3- Zoom Mutli sport Tri (Caesars Creek)
Aug 13- Blue Streak
*Aug 31- Buck Creek Oly
Sep 10- Blue Streak
*Sep 21- Air Force Half Marathon
*Sep 28- Deer Creek Fall Classic Oly
Oct 8- Blue Streak

I listed the Blue Streak's but I don't know how many I will actually do. For anyone that doesn't know about them they are a 10 mile time trial loop on Wright Patt Air Force Base at 6 pm on the 2nd Wed of every month thru Oct. For a $5 donation its a chance to hammer down on the bike. The first 2 they had had around 100 participants. Check it out on Speedy-Feet.com.

Just want to add to the list for some of you a great new race in NW Ohio with a outdoor pool swim for an early season tune up!

http://www.3disciplines.com/Events/Be-A-Beaver-Triathlon/

All proceeds go to the Bluffton University Track and Field teams. I am raceing(albeit I am out of shape and just decided this week to start training)

May 31st, 400m pool swim, 13mile flat fast bike, 5k trail run through the university nature preserve!

I am a novice on the west side of Columbus if anybody wants to train together periodically.

Olympic at Mohican on 6/22. Olympic at Ceasars Creek on 7/13.
70.3 at Deer Creek on 9/28.
Maybe a marathon in Columbus in October or Ft. Wayne in November.
Main goals: (1) don't die; (2) don't get divorced.
