I'm looking for a chiro who is familiar with sports, ideally someone who is also a triathlete or runner or knows how misalignment in the body can cause injury in those sports. This sounds like a personal ad, it's not, but you can still laugh as you're reading this. I did while I was writing it. Anyone know of any in the new haven/hamden/milford/orange area. I live in Hamden and work in Milford.

Strongly recommend Dr AJ for anything sports related. He seriously considers what sport / training you focus in and your goals and gives honest assessments and treatments... he keeps me running....

Not a Chiro but Ortho, you might consider tri96md. He's an active contributor on the CT Heat.org website.

I didn't see this when you posted it, but although it's a hike, Dr. Stewart Weitzmann in Bedford Hills, NY (just over the NY border) is exactly what you're looking for. He's an IM finisher, avid runner, great guy, and excellent chiro.

How do I know if my cleats need to be adjusted? And how do you know in which direction to adjust them? I have been having medial knee pain and edema but my LBS says the cleat placement is fine.

I have pedals with the cage and when I ride 2+ hours my legs feel much more tired then if I took out my husband's bike with clipless pedals. Do clipless pedals truly make the difference?

I started riding this spring with the Carnac shoes on Look pedals (with plenty of float). About five minutes into a ride I get sharp pain on the outer edge of my feet, just behind the pedal.

Approximately how long do you think can I reasonably expect to keep making these improvements in speed and performance? I know it has to drop off sometime, I'd just like to have an idea of when.
