Subject: Across the Lake, Kelowna
I'm registering for the swim tonight and just curious how rough the lake can be for the swim. Can anyone who has participated in the swim comment? Looks like it should be fun.

I Have done this race a couple of times but that was years ago, before the new bridge. Never had a problem with rough water but I do remember one year the water temp. was in the low 60's at the start.

Never had any issues, though it was also hot weather. Can't comment on cold days.

I am running Boston in April and Ironman Lake Placid is in July. I have been told that it is ambitious to think about doing an IM so close to a marathon due to the recovery time. Any suggestions?
